Okay… so Firefox and the other better than IE browsers won’t run Click Once properly because it apparently relies heavily on api calls to urlmon.dll on the client side. Oh well. But, I mean.. you can use IE just for this purpose I’m sure. And once you’re app is installed it will update without having to go through the browser

Here are a few more links with information on Click Once and generating Click Once packages in the Express Versions even thought it’s technically not offered in Express editions - Though I thought I saw the publish option in my copy of express at home. You can still generate Click Once manifests because all that is Click Once is wrapped up in the .Net framework, as I suspected. MSBuild will actually gen the packages for you.
